STORY:

Chandu(Gopichand) is a happy-go-lucky guy, who lives in Australia with his uncle (Chandramohan). Mahalakshmi(Trisha) looks after a restuarant owned by her uncle. Chandu falls in love with Mahalakshmi at first sight. Though she was reluctant to chandu's proposal at the initial stage, later on she falls in love with him. When Mahalakshmi was about to express her love she was forcibly taken to India by her aunt(Telangana Shakunthala). The story shifts to Cuddapah. Mahalakshmi is the daughter of Pasupathi (Kota). Pasupathi develops rivalry with Chandu's father Sivayya (Satyaraj). Chandu arrives in Cuddapah and goes to meet Mahalakshmi. Pasupathi sees it as an opportunity to settle scores with Sathyaraj.
